Mikal was a highly decorated Navy seal. After leaving the military he founded Vital Warrior, a 501(c)3 nonprofit and a system that increases performance and resiliency through stress mitigation modalities. He is regularly sought out for his expertise in storytelling. Mikal’s qualifications include but are not limited to Navy SEAL, Bomb Squad (Senior EOD Tech), Cast Master, Parachutist, U.S. Secret Service Presidential Security Detail Operations, Combat Leadership, Precision Driver, Firearms, SCUBA/Mixed Gas diving supervisor, Cold Weather Environment Survival Trainer and Martial Artist. His accomplishments include, Technical Director for NBC’s The Brave, directing and producing several independent film projects, and was accepted into the Veterans WGA Mentorship program.
